This gin was crafted to a special recipe, created for readers of The Spectator. We’ve taken a beautiful, intense, perfumed juniper-infused spirit, with lashings of spice and pepper notes, and added the very finest Earl Grey Tea extract, as well as a citrus-y, sweet Lemon Balm extract. The result is delectable and complex, and works wonders in all manner of drinks, from Gin & Tonics to sublime Dry Martinis!
Nose: Black peppery, cardamom and coriander on the nose, with rosewater, lemon zest, a hint of orange peel and fresh herbs. Perfumed and enticing.
Palate: Creamy and thick, mouthcoating notes of lemon curd, tangy essential oils. Those Earl Grey tea notes come across in a wave of rich bergamot, with just a little camomile lingering in the background, peppermint and potpourri.
Finish: Good length, tangy and crisp. Dry and complex.
