Smeaton's Bristol Gin Bottling Note
Smeaton's Bristol Method Dry Gin is made using specially-sourced base spirit and a selection of eight botanicals - juniper, angelica, calamus, cinnamon, coriander, liquorice, orange and orris. Each botanical is distilled separately when its fresh, then blended together to create the final gin.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Earthy juniper and cinnamon, with lingering freshness of orange. A touch of fennel seed, too.

Show stopper
Stand out gin at show, just brilliant

Average
Not as good as I had hoped, thought it lacked a bit punch personally and the botanicals didn't really come through. My measures are generous too, so surprised this was the case.
Final clincher being the price point, there is better to be had £10-£15 cheaper. Nice bottle though.

Favourite Gin
Now my favourite gin, and I’m not sure I can go back to others. Fresh botanicals sing in the glass.

An easily justified buy
There gins aplenty but this one sits apart - well balanced, smooth, a definitive taste and justifies it’s premium tag. So far only sampled with Fevertree, lemon and ice. Wondering which vermouth washed around the glass might do it justice in a martini.....

Stunning Gin
... also 45%, which may explain the finger trouble!

Stunning Gin
Stunning gin - smooth and complex neat. Great in a martini. Best G&T I’ve ever had (with standard Fevertree, no garnish). Wow...
