Sky Wave Gin Bottling Note

Here we have a micro batch, hand-crafted gin, made by Rachel and Andy in Bucknell, Oxfordshire. After 40 different recipes, Sky Wave Signature Gin was born! The 13 botanicals are kept a closely guarded secret, though we do know that blackberries foraged from the local hedgerows and locally grown raspberries are among them. Each bottle is distilled, filled and labeled by hand, and on each bottle you can find out which distiller made your gin.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A creamy note reminiscent of white chocolate appears among oily juniper and lemon peel, with subtle hints of berry jam in support.

Palate: Viscous and mouth-filling, well-balanced creamy sweetness alongside prominent juniper, clean citrus and touches of jammy forest fruit.

Finish: White pepper spice appears on the finish with lingering, somewhat creamy juniper.

Sky Wave Gin Reviews

One of the best craft gins around...

This is a fabulous craft gin. Smooth, and full of flavour - not only the expected juniper but also citrus and subtle sweetness, finishing with a hint of spice on the tongue. This lingers beautifully. Well worth a try. Award-winning too, I read recently.
