Campfire Gin Cask Aged Bottling Note

The Hertfordshire-based Puddingstone distillery create their Campfire Gin in a pair of stills (named Isabella and Amelia), and allow a portion of it to mature in ex-bourbon casks from New York's Kings County distillery. Tasty stuff, perfect for enjoying by... Well, by a campfire, obviously. It's in the name.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The cask maturation has imparted a subtle earthy vanilla element to the gin, pairing well with the roasted hazelnut and coffee cherry notes. Juniper still stands sturdy at the centre.
