Pioneer Gin Bottling Note

Tom Crean was a legendary Antarctic explorer (taking part in three major expeditions to the continent), and now has a gin inspired by him! It was created by his grand-nephew, and boasts 12 botanicals including sweet orange, pink peppercorn, mountain pine, and rosehip. Pour yourself a G&T, and raise a glass to that intrepid explorer that you know!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Delicately floral, with a core of piney juniper, savoury herbs, and bursts of lively citrus and spice.

Got this as a Christmas present. Enjoyed it very much. Would recommend. I’d have liked to know more of the story of Tom Crean to enhance the experience.

Excellent Gin
One of the finest gins I've sampled - love the citrus vibe with a hint of spice!

Exceptional bouquet and flavour
Really great to see this on here, my favourite gin since luckily getting hold of a bottle in Suffolk. Made by proper old school distillery rather than mostly small scale amateurs in the market. Exactly what a perfect gin should be - refreshing, complex, dry and moreish. Nothing else required with it except a good tonic and ice.

A must buy
A top 3 gin for me, hope that pioneer gains all the recognition it deserves. Great straight on the rocks or with any tonic, orange is my go to garnish for this gin.

Love this gin
So pleased to have found Pioneer Gin for sale here, have tried it before and it is delicious. Both smooth and refreshing, I love it with a slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary but just some tonic and some ice would do. Really can't recommend it highly enough, Thank you

Fantastic gin!
I absolutely love this gin. Already right up there as one of my favourites. And I love the backstory / heritage.

Jason Drobig, York.
It is one of my favourite bottles of gin. It goes very well with most tonic waters and either both lime or lemon slices. It was a wonderful after taste not overpowering just nice. Occasionally, I have dropped in a rhubarb custard sweet which gives a lovely side favour. High recommended. Excellent for gifts too.
