Pink Lemonade Gin Bottling Note

Few things are quite as tasty, tangy and just down-right refreshing as pink lemonade. Thought to have been created at the circus back in the 1800s, it has stood the test of time and continues to be a much-adored beverage (even when not watching clowns throw buckets of confetti around). Now, what if someone harnessed the fab flavours of pink lemonade and somehow got them into a gin? Is that even possible?! Yes, it is, and this right here is Pink Lemonade Gin! This fantastically juicy expression is distilled with whole fresh lemons and dried lemon peels, as well as fresh raspberries. Loads of citrus brightness to it, with sweet raspberries tempering the sharpness, and familiar herbaceous elements from the gin keeping everything from getting out of hand. Tremendous in a G&T, though it also does incredibly well in a French 75 garnished with a fresh raspberry, so we hear...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fragrant lemon peel arrives first, developing a touch of lemon drizzle cake sweetness. It's supported by oily juniper and funky raspberry.

Palate: Soft red berry paired with zesty lemon oil, with a crackle of earthy spice and subtle vanilla creaminess.

Finish: Sherbet lemons, more fresh raspberry, a final floral flourish of citrus blossom and black pepper.

Overall: As bright and lively as you would expect from something all about pink lemonade, though the underpinning balance offered by the gin makes this very much its own thing. A tasty thing, too.
