Nao Gin Bottling Note

You've seen Port cask-finished whiskies - now try a Port cask-aged gin! Nao Portucale Gin is made with English grain spirit along with botanicals inspired by Portugal, and then then aged in Port casks before bottling! Certainly worth trying enjoying neat or over ice as well as in cocktails...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Elegant sweet grape with a touch of waxy orange peels.

Palate: Cooking spice starts to develop - think clove and cardamom - alongside the slightly juicy Port wine notes.

Finish: Long and citrus-forward on the finish.

Great gin for warm weather tonics!

Tried it in Porto, fabulous!

Absolutely gorgeous

Tried when in Oporto last month & bought a bottle home. Drunk over lots of ice with a slice of grapefruit and Fevertree tonic it is heavenly.

Not for the Purist

If you want plenty of Juniper avoid, however, if you want to drink it neat over ice or with a light Tonic and a roasted coffee bean it is heaven.
