Bosford Extra Dry '60s Bottling Note

1960s Bosford Extra Dry Gin, produced by Martini & Rossi. Interestingly, it was produced in Portugal instead of Italy. Unfortunately due to poor storage over the years, the label has faded.

This bottle was part of a private collection.

Bosford Extra Dry Gin - 1960s Reviews

That pitch of perfection amounting almost to a scandal

This is one of the top 10 gins of all time.
Up there with Crown Jewel - Herno’s juniper barrel- Burroughs Special Reserve- and the rest of my top 10.
I do not understand how Caroun is in many lists. It is bareable neat in a Martini but the moment you put tonic in ( the best is actually Waitrose own - obviously not the reduced sugar version) it turns to dishwater. I have over 100 different gins on the go at any one time and 97 of them will not be repurchased.
