Kongsgaard Gin

Nature plays a big part in Kongsgaard Gin. Inspiration has come from the forest, with botanicals including charred oak, resin and cinnamon bark, alongside juniper, ginger, coriander seed, tiger nuts, galangal, liquorice root and whole fresh lemons. They also make use of locally sourced Danish apples! It's stilled in an open-flame Cognac still using a wheat base spirit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Earthy notes at the fore, with hints of forest floor, pine needle, vanilla pod and a whiff of flower petal. Light fruity hints from the citrus and apple sit in the background.
