This delicious new addition to the JJ Whitley family was inspired by flavours from the British countryside, so if you enjoy a summery G&T or are looking for the perfect accompaniment to a glass of Prosecco, than look no further than this tasty tipple!
Stone fruit, marzipan and sour cherry lead, with touches of almond, orange blossom and spicy juniper underneath.
What happened to the cherry taste???
Was surprised the there was no cherry flavour and after having 5 generous servings to not even feel tipsy despite the advertised 38%abv on bottle. Do not waste your money on this
Just poured myself a G&T using this gin for the first time and I can’t even taste it, I can only taste tonic with just a hint of alcohol. I poured a pretty generous measure too. So disappointed as I love cherry flavoured things so was looking forward to it. Has anyone tried the cherry Makar gin? I really want to try it but don’t think I could stand a second cherry gin-based disappointment!
Not cherry flavoured at all just really sweet. Would not buy another bottle.
Tried this brand for the first time and am not sure why people cannot taste the cherry? I think there is a very strong taste of cherry, it even got me wondering if it was a little too artificial it was so strong... overall I enjoyed it but a little too sweet for a second. I mixed a full 5cl mini bottle into a usual large balloon glass ? no garnish required. For the price I would recommend
