Misty Isle Christmas Gin Bottling Note

The Misty Isle Gin folks on the Isle of Skye have created their very own Christmas-y gin for all your festive tipples! The Misty Isle Mulled Christmas Gin is made with a combination of juniper, orange, lemon, Tonka beans, cassia, star anise and liquorice root, all soaked in Italian Amarone red wine before distillation. This imparts the delicious fruity/spicy elements of mulled wine to the resulting spirit, all with a core of juniper-y deliciousness running through.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Peppery, oily juniper leads the way, followed by dark chocolate and raspberry. A kick of fresh orange, spicy anise and cinnamon develops. Enjoyable warmth sticks around on the palate.

Misty Isle Mulled Christmas Gin Reviews

Great flavour spicy gin

Great flavour I'm a big fan of spicy and herby gins and this is a great christmassy taste. It's a bit of a marmite thing, but I love it.

Ugh

Sorry. The aftertastes are faint orange and cheap soap. I’m going back to Isle of Mull Whitetail Gin!
