A small batch Finnish gin from Helsinki's first distillery in over a century! Kai Kilpinen, Mikko Mykkänen and Séamus Holohan are the chaps to thank, whilst the gin itself is made with seven different herbs as well as Finnish lingonberry for a fresh forest flavour.
Sherbet lemon, fresh juniper crispness and a few hints of sweet blueberry.
Cardamom, rosemary and a little hint of caraway. Still citrus forward, but restrained enough to let the accompanying herbs sing.
Sweet, lip-smacking anise tempts another sip.
$35.48 - $72.81
Exciting and surprising, yet smooth-tasting gin. I recommend to taste it a small sip raw to fully appreciate the aroma. Careful with tonic to allow the taste of the gin in its fullness.
The best gin! Simple yet superious quality.
I purchased a bottle at the Vanda airport in Helsinki in July. Sorry to say, it was one of the worst gins I have ever tasted and will never buy it again. Besides, the price was exorbitant. I wholly agree with the verdict of the person below.
Quality juniper forward gin, with citrus back notes, thoroughly enjoyable.
I bought a bottle at Vanda Airport two days ago. That was a mistake. It was too strong (47%) and bitter and did not mix well with dry French Martini. Also, it was much too expensive. 50 cl for 35 Euro was exorbitant. I usually buy Gordons' Dry or Beefeater, but they were sold out and I was in a hurry. Also, the bottle is very difficult to open.
