Four Pillars Shiraz Gin Bottling Note

This intriguing treat is the delicious result of mixing Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin with Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes. What the Australian distillers did was steep the grapes in the gin for eight weeks, then pressed the grapes and blended it with yet more of their gin!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Thick, juicy berry notes, underpinned by hints of peppery juniper and earthy herbs. A light hint of Christmas-y spices lingers.

Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin Reviews

Worlds Best!

Unbloodybelievable! An outstanding gin suffering an identity crisis. It’s robust yet delicate, it’s deep flavoured yet smooth, it’s boastful yet humble. This should be awarded the worlds best gin! Add some Fever Tree lemon and it’s heaven in a glass! Bloody get some.

Seriously the best gin I’ve ever tasted!

Best of both Shiraz and gin

I first tasted this in Melbourne. Was happy to be able to bring some back to New Zealand, happier still to know I can get it here on line.

Just a great gin !

Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz is outstanding. Really easy to drink and best with plain tonic water. No need for any extra flavouring at all. Just a really great gin.

one of the the most expensive gins

Looks good. Would be one of the the most expensive gins available though.
They should offer miniatures as well.

Very smooth, a delicious sweet take on a contemporary gin. Will definately order again.

Unusual, floral, berried, mulberry-coloured gin.

From Australia, an amazing coloured gin, which turns pink with the addition of tonic. But it is very good as a neat sipper. Sweet, floral, with a palate of berries, herbs, raspberry, orange, herbs, and a hint of spice. Lovely for summer, celebratory for Christmas. The bottle will go down very quickly.

Top 1%

Introduced to my wife and I by our neighbours over ice and now stands out as our favourite.

Brilliant gin

Just ordered a second bottle, because the first is disappearing quickly. This has become a favourite for me and my wife. Has similarities of a sloe, but without the excessive sweatness.

Must for the gin shelf

Great spin on their classic Rare Dry, totally unique. Would have this all day over a sloe.

A failed experiment

Unfortunately, the lingering taste is one of cough medicine.
