Bombay Dry (40%) Bottling Note

Originally launched in 1959, Bombay's Dry Gin is made to the original recipe which preceded Bombay Sapphire. A more robust, traditional style and quite lovely it is too.

Bombay Original London Dry Gin (40%) Reviews

Bad

Tastes fine but gave me and my wife prolonged headaches after modest amounts. Don't recommend

Why don’t you stock it ah it’s the price no doubt

Absolutely lovely gin and only £16 a litre from ASDA and Sainsbury’s

The Benchmark London Dry Gin

Bombay London Dry is an excellent, well-balanced gin. It is sturdy enough to stand up to any mixology you want to throw at it, and refined enough to shine in a classic Martini. I also like Sapphire, Ford's and Citadelle, but if I could have only one, hands down it would be Bombay London Dry. THE benchmark gin.

Soooo nice

This is perfection in gin... robust and flavorful, but not overbearing in the least. I like it best served in a shaken dirty martini with quality chillled Queen Anne olives.

best ever gin !

have tried lots of gins....from cheaper to expensive and can honestly say this is our favourite. Fragrant and fruity (but not spicy as some can be). Best gin and tonic ever (with a squeeze each of lemon and lime).

Good basic Gin - different from Sapphire, how?

This is a very good quality basic 'London Dry' style Gin, tasty, soft and nice. To be honest, tasting side by side I struggled to find much difference to the Bombay Sapphire apart from the colour of the bottle. Recommended as a quality product.
