Blackwoods 2012 Vintage Dry Gin Superior Strength Reviews

Great value

Disappointed 😢 - I’ve just finished this very special bottle of gin - hopefully the latest Editions are equally as good?

Superior all right

This stuff is ridiculously strong. This necessitates changing the proportion of gin to tonic. And when you do, oh it’s wonderful. Nothing fancy just natural and kind of windswept. One bottle lasts a long time if you’re careful. But it’s tempting not to be careful....

The Best

Stunning gin, the best ever.

I like my G 'n T cold so I shake it with a LOT of ice. Consequently the 60% is best for mixing this classic or any kind of Martini. Anything else just ends up too weak.

Absolutely fabulous with a twist of lime and Fever Tree mediterranean tonic. Remember to frost the glass. Dry, sharp, fragrant, the perfect antidote to all life's vicissitudes.

Drier than the Gobi Desert

My favourite gin bar none (though I do admit there are that many new distillers I'm struggling to keep up) Don't let the 60% put you off, this is a great dry gin.

Creamy and massive depth of Flavour

Dont let the strength put you off, this gin is out of this world! Full bodied with so much going on, with a real eastern spice/citrus hit to it. cant wait for the next vintage!!!!!
