Smirnoff

If you’ve been to a bar, pub, supermarket alcohol aisle or the vodka page of this very website, chances are you’ve seen a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka before. One of the top selling spirits brands in the world, Smirnoff dates all the way back to Moscow, 1864, when Pyotr Smirnov founded his vodka distillery. The brand has come a long way since then, with production in the US starting in 1934, and it is now currently owned by Diageo. There has been a wide selection of variants released over the years, from flavoured expressions to vodka of differing strength, but the most famous of all their spirits is the classic Smirnoff Red Label, which is thrice distilled and ten times filtered.
