If you wanted to find an ideal ingredient to liven up your cocktail, you could do a lot worse that to pick the brain of famed cocktail writer Gary (Gaz) Regan.
In fact, you might be thinking right now: if only somebody would team up with him to make his own product... Say, for example, people who were experienced in making successful cocktail products, like the Sazerac Company... You might even think, that if it was launched as first new bitter produced commercially since Fee Brothers fifty years ago, that you would buy that product, from a reputable and quite charming (award-winning) online retailer of alcohol and alcohol related products. You might just think that would be a good idea.
Turns out all of that stuff actually happened - who knew?
Clearly I did, and I suspect you did too. The result was Orange Bitters No. 6, and it stands as the only product of the Regan brand, now supplied by those good eggs at Buffalo Trace.
