Orkney Gin is produced on Burray, one of the Orkney Islands, using the traditional ‘cold compound’ method by founders Gary and Andrea Watt. What originally began as a hobby for the two has become much more than they ever imagined - though they still fill and label the bottles by hand!
The logo seen on each bottle depicts an Orkney ‘Selkie’. The Selkie folk are mysterious, shape-shifting creatures from Orcadian legend. In the sea, they take the form of seals, while on the they emerge as beautiful young men and women.
