Lustau is one of the grand old names of Jerez, the capital of the sherry region. The firm dates back to 1896, the name is of French origin. It is now part of the Caballero group and interestingly is now housed in Harvey’s old bodega. It produces a wide range of premium sherries including Old East India - a unique sweet sherry designed to taste like wines that would have been shipped through the tropics in the 18th century. In addition to wine, it also produces some excellent vermouth and Brandy de Jerez.
