House of Rum is a producer of aged and blended rums that aim to showcase regional intricacies and undiscovered spirits. It was founded by David Howarth, who was moved by an experience in Antigua three decades ago while enjoying a beautiful rum punch and listening to steel drums being played against the backdrop of Shirley Heights. This inspired him to make a drastic career change, relocate, and spend the next three decades travelling, living, and working across the Caribbean. Now he creates rum, sourcing spirit from across the Caribbean and beyond, working with distilleries in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, Venezuela, and more.
