The François Voyer Cognac Distillery is a renowned producer of the sophisticated brandy, located in the Grande Champagne region of France. The distillery has a long history and has been family-owned and operated for over five generations. The Voyer’s have been cultivating vineyards and distilling Cognac since the mid-19th century using traditional methods, with a strong emphasis on expressing the Grande Champagne terroir and the quality of the grapes used.
The vineyards owned by François Voyer cover around 28 hectares (69 acres) and are primarily planted with the ugni blanc grape variety, the most common grape used in Cognac production. You can visit these vineyards and the distillery and take a guided tour to learn about the Cognac-making process and discover the family's heritage. Tastings are also available of the François Voyer range, which you can see below includes a VS (Very Special), VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale), XO (Extra Old), and even older expressions.
