Château de Lacquy has been producing Armagnac and in the hands of the same family since 1711. It’s now run by the 11th generation Véronique and Gilles de Boisséson. It’s a true single estate property, the family only uses grapes from their 22 hectares of vineyards which are planted with baco, folle blanche and colombard. For distillation, they use a traditional wood-fired column still and the resulting spirit is aged in French oak barrels about half of which are new for each vintage.
