Ahh, Chambord. A vital ingredient in many a cocktail calling out for a burst of raspberry juiciness. This French liqueur was introduced back in 1982, though its recipe harks back to a liqueur made in the 1600s for Louis XIV when he visited Château de Chambord. Today, it’s produced in Loire Valley’s Cour Cheverny, on the grounds of La Sistiere Chateau, using Cognac, vanilla and red and black raspberries. The distinct orb-shaped bottle is based on the Globus Cruciger (not on the Holy Hand Grenade from Monty Python and Worms).

This rather regal-looking-chap is a 1970s bottling of Chambord Liqueur. An awesome collectible, this. Ought to be a great piece for antique cocktail enthusiasts.  More info
Chambord Liqueur - 1980s
(70cl, 16.50%)
We think that this bottling of Chambord's famous raspberry liqueur was probably produced in the 1980s. Very shiny and decorative, this'll make for a fine addition to any antique liqueur collection.  More info
