Brew By Numbers

Based in Bermondsey, the chaps behind Brew By Numbers (or BBNo.) are Dave Seymour and Tom Hutchings. Teaching themselves as they went, since 2011 Brew By Numbers has become one of the most exciting craft producers around.

The two met in China whilst on a climbing holiday and were still playing with a homebrew kit in a friend’s basement on Southwark Bridge Road back in 2011. Seemingly always able to learn and develop, they have been able to receive advice from the likes of The Kernel, Partizan, Redemption and The Craft Beer Co. and influence from their favourite Belgian styles, for example, as they forge new ground of their own.

Now running a 12 barrel brewery of their own design in Bermondsey (despite a relatively small footprint), thanks in part to BrewDog’s development fund, Dave and Tom have developed a range of consistent favourites with their simple Style | Recipe naming convention. The philanthropic financial support from BrewDog has also come with further advice, help sourcing top ingredients and the use of BrewDog’s lab to enable Brew By Numbers to keep getting better at what they do: making top craft beers.
