Danish Beer

If you travelled back in time around 20 years and asked someone to name a Danish beer, the answer would almost certainly be related to Carlsberg, which has been running since the 1840s. However, in recent years a number of fantastic Danish craft brewers have popped up and started producing some excellent brews of all styles. Mikkeller is the name the springs to mind, though they don’t actually have their own brewery in Denmark - their beers are produced at breweries around the world! While most beer coming from Denmark is pale lager, the Danish do produce some ales, and the microbreweries in particular have a penchant for IPAs, stouts and porters.
