Belgian Beer

Belgium has given the world countless fantastic beers over the hundreds of years it has been produced in the Western European country. You'll often find Belgian beers are Pale Lagers or Pilsners, though a wide variety of styles are produced in Belgium, including Blondes, Wheat Beers, Saisons, Lambic Beers, Scotch Ales, IPAs and more. A wide variety of flavour profiles to appeal to a wide variety of palates, all from Belgium. Ace.

The Trappist breweries are also closely associated with Belgium, with six of the eleven Trappist breweries located within its borders. These breweries produce some fantastic beers, including the well known Dubbel, Tripel and Quadrupels. Belgian yeast will often play a part in the final flavour profile, with dry spice notes aplenty.
