Hine Antique Bottling Note

An enjoyable cognac from Hine, blended from 40 eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions. This "antique" bottling was matured for at least 15 years.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Spiced, rich, cigar box. Fragrant woods, dark fruit and black pepper.

Palate: Oaked, rich. Honey, dark fruit, toffee.

Finish: Balanced, fruity 'til the last.

Hine Antique Reviews

The best I have ever tasted, and still have just enough left (after 10 years) for 3 double measures. I'm disappointed that it has been discontinued.

Any suggestions for an equal Hine?
The current Antique XO is Grande Champange, rather than a Fine Champagne, which has one average review which puts me off buying it without this website's or users feedback. Thank you.

Cho Cho San

This is a very fine cognac which is soft on the palate with plenty of fruity overtones and a lingering warm aftertaste. A real gem!
