Released in 2011, this stunning Cognac from Hennessy is a blend of incredibly rare spirit distilled in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was inspired by a special brandy created by Hennessy in 1818 for none other than Tsar Alexander I as a gift from his mother. Beautifully packaged in a crystal decanter designed by Stephanie Balini, with an 18 carat gold-plated label.

These comments...the Paradis Imperial is good but there are cheaper alternatives that offer higher quality. This website sells the bottle much cheaper than some others online. This is Cognac not whiskey, I feel that individual might have been trolling. Cheers.

If I had 2000 euros to spend on a bottle of Cognac I would buy this one in a heart beat. The Le Burgundy bar in Paris serves the Hennessey Paradis Imperial by glass. We tried ordering some but they were out of it and we had to settle for the Henessey Paradis - which was simply brilliant! Deep, rich, dark fruit flavors and extremely smooth. We also had two glasses of 60+ year old cognac (one was a Frapin and I cant remember what the other was) but the Hennessey Paradis was the clear winner. The Hennessey XO is also an excellent cognac in its own right. Of the 5-6 large cognac producers, my vote goes to Hennessey.

My sister Eileen tasted paradis on holiday as a young woman and never forgot the taste..I wished to buy a bottle for her 70th birthday on 24th March, but my pension won't stretch this far...so sorry sis, I'll need to go for the less exquisite option. Mabye your 100th!! Margaret Anne

The first review must relate to something else. Cognac is neither whiskey nor Irish (whiskEy).I'm lucky enough to have sampled many wonderful cognacs at the chateaux in France but not this one which I'm certain will be spectacular.I look forward to trying it.

I've sampled this Whiskey at a friends house, once upon a time, and the beauteous taste sensation has stayed with me ever since. I CANNOT recommend this Whiskey highly enough, regardless of the price.
