This was released to celebrate Napoleon's love of fine Cognac. Very rich and intense, and utterly delicious. A wonderful example of well-aged Courvoisier.
Nose: Spicy, woody aromas. Sherry, a little vanilla cream and manuka honey.
Palate: Creamy palate with rich fruit and great maturity. Acacia honey, chestnut and spice.
Finish: Spicy finish. Medium and fruity.

I am new to Cognac but it is has always been a drink that I have been intrigued by so decided to test my palate with a few samples. After tasting some of the top XO's I found that I enjoyed the smoother Cognac's like the Ragnaud-Sabourin Grande Champagne. I enjoyed the nose of this drink, it was rich, intense and spicy. I found the palate to be very spicy with deep fruit and unlit cigars. Overall this was a great smelling Cognac but it was a little to intense and spicy for my palate.
