Augier L'Oceanique Cognac Bottling Note

A coastal Cognac from the wonderful Augier, L'Oceanique is made from Ugni Blanc grapes grown near the Atlantic Ocean on Île d'Oléron, which is joined to mainland France by a bridge. Once distilled, it spent some time resting in French oak and was then bottled at 40.1% ABV. This intriguing spirit really lets its maritime influences shine through, meaning it pairs very well with seafood.

Augier L'Oceanique Cognac Reviews

Really nice cognac from the Ocean !

A really special cognac looking closely to a whisky with an ocean influence from the Island of Oléron.

Robe : Gold
Nose : The first nose is powerful. There is a nice structure.
Palate : The attack is vivid and the body is complex with fruity notes of candied apricot and pear.
Final : Slighly spicy with a really well integrated wood and notes of vanilla, nuts, leather

Love the packaging too !
