Pere Magloire VSOP 35cl Bottling Note

VSOP Calvados from the iconic Pere Magloire, aged in oak casks for at least four years before blending and bottling. This is a half bottle, and though the bottle may be smaller, the massive orchard fruit flavours remain just as huge and delicious.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Juicy red fruit, dusted with cinnamon and brown sugar. Fresh orchard blossom, juicy pear, orange and just a hint of cider-y farmyard funk.

Pere Magloire VSOP Pays d'Auge Calvados 35cl Reviews

Pere Magloire VSOP Pays d'Auge

This Calvados was on my list to try, and since it was free postage I added to my order. On opening, I did not detect any Apples, I thought this was strange for an Apple Brandy. Poured and took a sip, again no Apples, but a lovely taste, smooth with no after burn at all. Then the Apples came through superb, a joy to drink. Before I knew, I was on my second glass and enjoying every Mouthful. Need to find a 70cl bottle, this One will not last long.
