Daron is made in the very heart of the Pays d'Auge in Calvados, and the company has been operated for five generations of the same family. Today, only the very first pressing of juice is used and the the result is truly exceptional.
Nose: Hints of creamy caramel and soft notes of baked apple. Allspice and a little honey.
Palate: Star anise and cinnamon. Manuka honey and cooked fruit. Dried apricot and potpourri.
Finish: A very aromatic finish with notes of pear and spice.

On the nose there is an caramelized apple like in a good home baked charllote with cinnamon with vannila ice cream. Palate: on the start appears very ripe yellow sweet apple which evolves into ripe appricots covered in mild honey. The finish is very appricoty/peary with notes of allspice. Very enjoyable calvados!
