Château du Breuil Réserve du Château Reviews

Chateau du Breuil

A great lover of the apple in all its forms I was given a bottle as a present on my 78th birthday. The 'nose' was inviting, the taste seemingly gentle but the breathless aftertaste quite exceptional, where has it been all my life? I know not but it will be with me for whatever remains!

Don't be shy

This is only the second bottle of Calvados I have tried. The first I had was a gentle affair a little shy, this one however is right in your face the description of walnut, almond and vanilla is superbly accurate but what it doesn't say is how superb the vanillary aftertaste is; it seems to linger and linger and leaves you wanting more.
