Reviews for Busnel Trois Lys Calvados Pays d'Auge
Excellent alternative
Very pleasant Calvados Fine. Before we left the EU I used to make several trips a year to St-Vaast-La-Hougue to purchase Calvados Fine from Gosselin's cellar. Sadly, these trips are now not cost effective so, as an alternative, this is a pretty good one.

Great raster at great price
Really pleasant taste of apple left on the palate. Amazing price for a product that is not too readily available. Great packaging and speedy delivery from Master of Malt.

Dram with a difference
Been a Calvados drinker ever since I discovered it in Normandy, but unfortunately I found my usual suppliers stopped selling, so was so pleased to see that Master of Malt are still supplying Busnel Calvados Pays D'Auge. At less than £25 per bottle, this is a great deal and the taste in something else. Brandy with a taste of apple left in your mouth after drinking it. Apple and oak with lingering pepper and vanilla tones is the best way that I can describe this drink.

Excellent
Rather nice. At the lower end of price but still of excellent quality. Very fruity but with that tang that comes with Calvados. Likely to buy again in due course.

Intense and dry
First time I try a Calvados, I am more of a whisky drinker. I was a bit worried that this spirit might be one of those syrupy liquors, but I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried it and noticed it was dry and intense. Very fruity with apple, plum, and vanilla notes; nutty, with a young brandy signature in the background. I got it at a half-price bargain, then, for me, it was a terrific find.
