Wheat

Wheat: Wheat has long since been a much cultivated grain in Europe, and it gained similar popularity in America during the 1800s, with Kentucky being one of its chief proponents. Wheat is used in the production of grain whisky and in American Whiskey, among others. Winter Wheat is preferred for it has high levels of starch, it is named such for it is planted in Autumn. Wheat brings a smooth, sweetness to the whisky.
