At first you get more of the rum like, sugar cane. But develops complexity with lingering finish

I found an open bottle at home, it was my father's. I thought it hadn't any value, but then I tasted it, and recognized something nice was in my hands. It's sweet, with an oxidated finish. It seems lake a Marsala.
