Following that unusually intense kiln fire, the resulting malt developed deeper, toastier flavours throughout the production process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1700\">The team decided to bottle the outcome, not as a one-off curiosity, but as a deliberate expression of how unpredictable moments can shape <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/country\/scotch-whisky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scotch whisky<\/a> in fascinating ways.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1746\">Tasting Notes \u2013 born of fire and flair<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1965\"><strong data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1757\">Nose:<\/strong> Charcoal and dark chocolate dominate up front, underscored by intense, smouldering peat.
