So here are 5 easy summer gin cocktails. <\/span>There is a life beyond tonic.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 easy summer gin cocktails<\/h3>\n
Ginger beer<\/b><\/h5>\n

It sounds a bit wrong, gin and ginger beer, surely rum, whisky and vodka are the perfect match with ginger. But actually gin and ginger beer is a phenomenal combination especially if you use a nice spicy gin like the one below. Oh and if you like the gin and ginger combination, you can upgrade your Pimm\u2019s by adding a measure of gin to every serve and diluting with ginger beer instead of lemonade. Delicious!<\/span><\/p>\n

Sacred Cardamom Gin 70cl<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Lemonade<\/b><\/h5>\n

Gin loves all things citrus, especially lime and lemon, so if you\u2019re making homemade lemonade then why not spice it up with a dash of gin? 7-Up and Sprite also mix brilliantly with gin but the ultimate shop-bought mixer is Fanta Lemon or even better if you\u2019re in Spain, Kas Limon. It goes especially well with Menorca\u2019s very own gin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vermouth<\/b><\/h5>\n

Gin and vermouth is up there with Jagger and Richards or Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire when it comes to perfect pairings. Obviously the classic one is the Dry Martini, and we\u2019ve recommended one of the best Martini gin on the market below. But the Dry Martini isn\u2019t the only gin and vermouth cocktail out there. There\u2019s the Martinez or simplest of all, the Gin & It. Simply stir equal parts sweet vermouth and gin with ice in a tumbler and serve with an orange twist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bathtub Gin 70cl<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Fruit juice<\/b><\/h5>\n

Lemons aren\u2019t the only fruit, there\u2019s oranges, grapefruit, and pineapples, and mangos, guavas and strawberries. If you like your gin cocktail on the fruity side then why not try Snoop Dogg\u2019s favourite, the Gin and Juice. As Snoop himself once said: \u201c<\/span>Rollin’ down the street smokin’ indo. Sippin’ on gin and juice. Laid back (with my mind on my money and my money on my mind).\u201d And who can argue with that? To make a Gin and Juice just mix together some gin, orange juice and pineapple juice (or ruby grapefruit).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elderflower<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Elderflower is redolent of English hedgerows and gin is quite English too (though a lot of it is made in Scotland but we won\u2019t go into that now), so it won\u2019t surprise you that the two go so well together. Some gins even use elderflower as a botanical but a mixture of a good dry gin, like the one below, elderflower cordial or liqueur (like <\/span>St. Germain<\/span><\/a>), ice and a splash of soda water is unbeatable on a hot day.\u00a0 Who needs a G&T?<\/span><\/p>\n
