It&#8217;s called a &#8216;Bobby Burns&#8217; &#8211; and uses a healthy slug of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/gin\/few-spirits\/few-american-gin\/\" target=\"_blank\">B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine<\/a> to give the whisky and vermouth a much-needed lift.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s obviously named after the Scottish Bard, Robert Burns, but in the week that Lynyrd Skynyrd&#8217;s original drummer Bob Burns tragically died it seems a fitting tribute to him as well.<\/p>\n<p>So, let&#8217;s get to it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/MoC-il_beetz\/nextweek-big.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"polaroid\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/MoC-il_beetz\/nextweek.jpg\" alt=\"Master of Cocktails \" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>You&#8217;ll be needing these&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>List of Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>40ml of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/whiskies\/naked-grouse-whisky\/\" target=\"_blank\">Naked Grouse<\/a><\/li>\n<li>20ml of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/vermouth\/antica-formula-carpano-vermouth\/\" target=\"_blank\">Antica Formula Carpano Vermouth<\/a><\/li>\n<li>10ml of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/liqueurs\/french-liqueurs\/herbal-liqueurs\/benedictine\/dom-liqueur\/\" target=\"_blank\">B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine D.O.M. Liqueur<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Lemon Peel (Garnish)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Take 40ml <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/whiskies\/naked-grouse-whisky\/\" target=\"_blank\">Naked Grouse<\/a> (or any other decent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/country-style\/scotch\/blended-whisky\/\" target=\"_blank\">Blended Whisky<\/a>), and add to a stirring glass.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/MoC-The-Bobby-Burns\/Naked-Grouse-big.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"polaroid\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/MoC-The-Bobby-Burns\/Naked-Grouse.jpg\" alt=\"Master of Cocktails Naked Grouse\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next, 20ml Red Vermouth. I&#8217;m using Antica Formula on account of it being yummy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/MoC-The-Bobby-Burns\/Antica-Vermouth-big.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"polaroid\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.masterofmalt.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/MoC-The-Bobby-Burns\/Antica-Vermouth.jpg\" alt=\"Master of Cocktails Antica Formula Vermouth\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine. 10ml. Some recipes call for much less B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine (including one that asks for only 3 drops).
