UPDATE: We have our winners! Congratulations to Cameron Fawcett, you are receiving a bottle of limited-edition Four Walls 15 Year Old (worth over £950)! And congrats are also in order for Alistair Cabral, who won two VIP tickets to the sold-out The Always Sunny Podcast London show.
Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton are not just the creators of the cult TV show It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, the longest-running live-action sitcom in television history. They’re also whiskey makers now.
Four Walls whiskey is here!
Four Walls whiskey
Last year, the trio collaborated to create Four Walls Whiskey. The producers, writers, and stars in FXX’s hit sitcom (which also stars Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito) launched the brand to capture the spirit of Paddy’s Pub, the Irish bar the characters run in South Philadelphia, and as a means of supporting the hospitality industry in the city. A tribute to the Four Walls the gang calls home, the bar, all proceeds from this limited drop will be donated to a 501c-3 non-profit organization benefiting the bartending community.
McElhenney says: “We were shooting Season 15 when bars were shutting down all across America. So, we decided to source some really great whiskeys and create something as a tribute to the bar and kick it off by giving back”. All proceeds will be donated to the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association’s Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania.
There are two whiskeys, The Bartenders Blend and Four Walls Cask Strength Single Barrel 15 Year Old. A homage to the four walls the actors called home for all those years on the show, The Bartender’s Blend is appropriately an American-Irish marriage of malt Irish whiskeys with Pennsylvania Straight Rye Whiskey. Four Walls Cask Strength is an Irish whiskey that was made in pot stills and matured in a single bourbon barrels for at least 15 years, signifying the record-breaking number of seasons the show has aired for. There are just 755 bottles of it.
Competition time
To celebrate the launch, we’re giving you the chance to win either a bottle of limited-edition Four Walls 15 Year Old (worth over £950) or two VIP tickets to the trio’s sold-out The Always Sunny Podcast London show!
We tasted the Bartender’s Blend recently and it’s good stuff. The musty, dustier elements of the rye and its spice are balanced by the creamier elements of the vanilla but it also brings heaps of cherry and a bulk of denser caramel while the Irish side adds a lovely tropical fruit note. It’s a long way from Fight Milk and rum ham.
Which makes it all the more consoling if you don’t win. A delicious bottle of whiskey to enjoy while you rewatch all 162 episodes while waiting for season 16 of the show.

I’m a fan of It’s always sunny in Philadelphia since it first showed in the states (downloaded from the internet). The gang are really very funny and then when Danny Devito it just got better ?. I did hear awhile ago they were bringing their own brand of whiskey out, I thought I’d have a a go of that, even got excited when Master of Malt opened a competition with great prizes. So far so good. But wait Cieran !! Yes you can buy a bottle or two, But no you cannot enter the competition, after all you live in Northern Ireland. Why bother Cieran, why bother at all. Exclusion does not feel nice at all, Thanks for the downer Master of Malt ?
