Snap up a bottle of Slane Irish Whiskey and you won’t just be rewarded with tasty booze. You could win a VIP trip to Slane Distillery and the legendary Slane Castle!
Have any of you been to any distilleries that are located on the grounds of a castle? As in, a proper 18th-century castle with the big stone walls and everything? No? Well now’s your chance. We’re running another one of our incredible competitions where we send you on a VIP trip that will make all your friends (and writers at MoM) jealous. This time there’s a chance to head to sunny Dublin to enjoy the best of Irish hospitality with Slane Irish Whiskey.
The brand, which has converted a crumbling 250-year-old stable into one of Ireland’s most promising distilleries, makes a terrific blended expression (winner of a shiny gold medal at the Irish Whiskey awards 2019, don’t you know?) using local grain which is matured in virgin-oak, refill-American-whiskey and Oloroso sherry casks. Three is the magic number, after all.
Just pick up a bottle of Slane Irish Whiskey and you’re entered!
But you don’t need us telling you all about the whiskey, because if you win, the distillery team will show you how it makes their signature whiskey. The prize for this competition includes UK travel to Dublin for two people (including transport for the duration of the trip) where you’ll explore both Slane Distillery and Slane Castle in a combination tour hosted by the brand’s UK brand ambassador.
Best of all, you’ll get to hand-fill your own bottle of Slane Irish Whiskey at the distillery. Oh, and one night’s accommodation at either Rock Farm or Conygham Arms Hotel (depending on availability), as well as breakfast lunch and dinner, is also included.
Want to enter? Of course you do.
Slane Castle Distillery is housed in a beautiful, historical site.
Well, entry is incredibly complicated. First, you must solve the cunning troll’s riddle, make your way through the Temple of Doom and then… wait, hang on. Wrong competition. Entering this competition is super easy.
Just buy a bottle of Slane Irish Whiskey. That’s it. Once you do, you’re automagically entered (for the nitty-gritty details, see the competition terms below).
So, even if you don’t find yourself heading to Dublin on a VIP trip, you’ve still got your hands on a delicious bottle of Irish whiskey. There are no losers here, folks.
