Want to win a trip to Islay with Bunnahabhain? Then you’re in the right place. The Westering Home Collection begins with a bold new Scotch whisky and a belter of a prize.

Some distilleries release a whisky. Bunnahabhain launches a voyage. The Turas Math No. 1 15 Year Old is the first leg of a three-part journey – The Westering Home Collection – inspired by the windswept romance of Islay and the whisky that’s been setting sail from its shores for generations.

And to mark the occasion? We’ve teamed up with Bunnahabhain to offer one lucky winner the trip of a lifetime to Islay for Fèis Ìle 2026 – backstage access, legendary drams, and a chinwag with the big names behind the whisky. More on that below…

What’s The Westering Home Collection all about?

If you’ve ever found yourself standing on Bunnahabhain’s pier, looking west as the sun dips behind the Paps of Jura, you’ll get it. This new collection is rooted in that feeling – the pull of home, the pride of departure, and the anticipation of return. It takes its name from Westering Home, the Islay anthem that graced the original 12 Year Old bottlings back in the ‘80s.

It’s a trilogy of limited-edition single malts, released over the next three years. Each one tells a story of connection between Bunnahabhain’s global fans and its Hebridean heart. The kind of whisky that speaks fluent emotion and a fair bit of sherry cask.

The new Bunnahabhain 15 Year Old Turas Math No. 1

Introducing: Turas Math No. 1 15 Year Old

Turas Math means ‘safe journey’ in Scots Gaelic – fitting for a whisky that’s travelled far and wide in wood before returning to Islay in triumph.

Here’s the cask breakdown:

One parcel of spirit fully matured in Manzanilla Sherry casks from Jerez – bold, salty, and rich.

Another aged ten years in refill oak, then finished five years in Amarone wine casks from the Veneto – adding layers of dark fruit and intrigue.

Both were distilled in 2008. Both matured on Islay. Both now beautifully married into this 15 Year Old release.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Black cherries, plums, roasted nuts, and a touch of clove

Palate: Treacle toffee, cinnamon pastries, hazelnut, and soft herbs

Finish: Spicy warmth with a whisper of sea spray
