MoM Stauning Competition 2024 T&Cs

1. THE PROMOTER: The promoter is Atom Supplies Limited (company register number 03193057), trading as Master of Malt (MoM) and having its registered office at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, United Kingdom. 
2. THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By entering this competition, entrants confirm they have read and understood these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy (and the way we process personal data), and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy are binding to them. MoM reserves the right to amend these terms and to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition at any time.
3. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is only open to private individuals acting in their capacity as retail consumers who are 18 years or older and are residents of the United Kingdom, excluding Northern Ireland. To be eligible, the shipping address for the winning entry must be in the UK, excluding Northern Ireland.  Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded. The competition is not open to any employees of MoM or any of its associated companies (nor their immediate families). MoM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) at any time and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or entrant who it believes has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct which may undermine the fair and proper conduct of this competition, and to discard any entry which reflects any such conduct.
4. ENTRY/COMPETITION PERIOD: This competition opens at 09:00:00 UK time on 11 November 2024  and closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 17 November 2024 (the entry period). 
5. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, eligible individuals must purchase a product from the following list of products from masterofmalt.com during the entry period:Stauning HØST Whisky 70cl; Stauning Rye Whisky Design Edition 70cl; Stauning Smoke Whisky Design Edition 70cl; Stauning KAOS Whisky Design Edition 70cl; Stauning Bastard Whisky 70cl; Stauning Rye Whisky 70cl; Stauning El Clásico Whisky 70cl; Stauning Rye – Sweet Wine Casks Whisky 70cl; Stauning 2017 (cask 6493) (bottled 2022) – Berry Bros. & Rudd Whisky 70cl; Stauning Peat Whisky 70cl; Stauning KAOS Whisky 70cl; Stauning Smoke Whisky 70cl. For a purchase to be a qualifying entry: (i) it must be made on www.masterofmalt.com; (ii) it must be completed within the entry period (i.e. payment approved and order confirmation received before the expiry of the entry period); and (iii) it must be made on and subject to MoM’s standard Consumer Terms of Business (a qualifying entry). Multiple entries are permitted! Any determination whether a purchase is a qualifying entry will be made by MoM in its sole discretion.
6. WINNER(S): MoM will choose 1 main prize winner and 3 runners-up at random out of all qualifying entries after the entry period ends. Winners will be selected after the entry period ends. The selection of the winners made will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.  
7. THE PRIZES: The main winner will win: a trip for 2 people (your guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Stauning Distillery in Skjern, Denmark, in Spring 2025, organised by Stauning Whisky A/S (Ltd.) (Stauning). The prize includes the following: standard or economy flight travel for 2 people from Stansted airport to Billund airport in Billund, Denmark; transfers between Billund airport, the Stauning Distillery and the accommodation; standard accommodation in Ringköbing for 1 night for 2 people (subject to availability and to be arranged by prize provider); dinner for 2 people with drinks on the 1st evening of the trip; full Nordic breakfast for 2 people on the 2nd day of the trip; spa day pass; and private tour of the Stauning distillery, with a tasting and a single cask experience with one of the nine founders; and 2. hygge hamper consisting of the following: 1 x 70cl bottle of Stauning HØST whisky; Stauning glassware; 3 x 5cl bottles of the rest of the Stauning core range (Stauning Rye, Stauning KAOS, and Stauning Smoke); and a selection of ‘Hygge’ essentials; a blanket; candle, and Danish chocolates. The 3 runners-up will each win a Stauning HØST gift box, consisting of the following: 1 x 70cl bottle of Stauning HØST; 2 x glasses; 1 x tote bag; 1 x notepad and pen; and 1 x pin badge. All prizes are strictly non-negotiable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for any equivalent cash value, cash alternative, or for other items. MoM reserves the right to substitute the prizes with alternative prizes of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. All travel and accommodation arrangements relating to the main winner’s prize trip will be the sole responsibility of Stauning. MoM will not be responsible for any failure or delay in travel and accommodation arrangements. Important travel restrictions are set out in paragraph 8 below.
8. IMPORTANT BOOKING AND TRAVELLING RESTRICTIONS: The main winner claiming the prize is subject to the following restrictions: the trip must and can only be taken in May 2025; travel dates and relevant reservations once notified to the winner cannot be changed, postponed, or cancelled.
9. OTHER COSTS OR EXPENSES: All costs or expenses not listed in paragraph 7 incurred by the winners and their guest (where applicable) in taking up the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the winners and their guest.
10. AVAILABILITY TO TRAVEL: The winners and their guests will be responsible for ensuring that they will be available to travel on the dates specified, and that they hold all necessary travel documentation incidental to the fulfilment of the prize.
11. UK SHIPPING ONLY: The hygge hamper and runners-up prizes are provided by Stauning can only be delivered to a valid address within the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) provided by the prize recipient. MoM will not be responsible for any failure or delay in the delivery of these prizes.
12. CLAIMING THE PRIZE: The name of the winners will be announced on MoM’s blog as soon as practicable following selection. MoM will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners via email or by telephone as soon as practicable. If any winner cannot be contacted and has not claimed the prize within 5 days of MoM making reasonable attempts to contact them, MoM reserves the right to select an alternative qualifying entry and to offer the prize to another entrant. MoM cannot accept any responsibility if any winner is unable to claim the prize within the time limit set out above. MoM may contact the winners and entrants for feedback in respect of the competition and/or any prize and may use any feedback provided when announcing the results and promoting the competition or subsequent competitions.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: MoM shall not be responsible for any purchase which does not qualify you for entry for any reason (for example, due to technical error, payment error or connection failure). MoM shall not be responsible for delivery of any prize to an incorrect address. Insofar as is permitted by law, none of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall be responsible or liable to compensate any competition entrant and/or the winner and/or their guest for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with their participation in this competition (including in taking up any prize), except where caused by the proven negligence of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Competition entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
14. STAUNING WHISKY A/S (LTD.)’S PRIVACY POLICY: MoM is required to pass the winners’ and their guests’, as well as the runners-up’s, details to Stauning in order for the prizes to be fulfilled. Once the details are passed onto Stauning, it shall act as data controller for such personal data and process the personal data in accordance with its privacy policy. 15. GENERAL: All decisions relating to this competition will be made in MoM’s absolute discretion and will be final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Should a social media channel be used for this competition, MoM confirms that this competition is not sponsored or endorsed by the social media platform identified herein and said social media platform is in no way affiliated to or associated with MoM. By entering this competition, users agree to release that social media channel from any and all liability related to this competition. These terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
