MoM Glenfiddich Competition 2023 T&Cs

1. THE PROMOTER: The promoter is Atom Supplies Limited (company register number 03193057), trading as Master of Malt (MoM) and having its registered office at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, United Kingdom. 
2. THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By entering this competition, entrants confirm they have read, understand and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy (and the way we process personal data) are binding to them. MoM reserves the right to amend these terms; to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition at any time.
3. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is only open to individuals who are residents of the United Kingdom and are 18 years or older. Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded. The competition is not open to any employees (and their immediate family) of the promoter or any of its associated companies. MoM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) at any time and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who, or any entry which, it believes has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct which may undermine the fair and proper conduct of this competition.
4. ENTRY/COMPETITION PERIOD: This competition opens at 09:00:00 UK time on 5 June 2023 and closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 11 June 2023. 
5. HOW TO ENTER:  To enter, eligible individuals must within the entry period purchase a qualifying product from the following list of products as available and listed on www.masterofmalt.com. For a purchase to be a valid entry: (i) it must be made on www.masterofmalt.com; (ii) it must be completed within the entry period (i.e. payment approved and order confirmation received); and (iii) all entrants must agree to MoM’s standard Consumer Terms of Business to complete the purchase (each being a qualifying purchase or qualifying entry). Multiple entries are permitted! Qualifying products:
   • Glenfiddich Grand Yozakura 29 Year Old Whisky (70cl, 45.1%)
   • Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Reserva Rum Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)
   • Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old (70cl, 40%) 
   • Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 Year Old (70cl, 43.8%)
     
6. WINNER(S): There is 1 main prize and 1 main winner, 1 runner-up winner and 1 runners-up prize, and 1 second runner-up prizes and 1 second runners-up prize. All prize winners and recipients will be selected at random out of all qualifying entries shortly after the competition period. The selection of the winner made will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7. PRIZE PROVIDER: All prizes are provided and will be shipped by William Grant & Sons Limited. All travel and accommodation arrangements relating to the main prize will be the sole responsibility of William Grant & Sons Limited. MoM will not be responsible for any failure or delay in travel and accommodation arrangements. All prizes are strictly non-negotiable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for any equivalent cash value, cash alternative, or for other items.
8. THE MAIN PRIZE: The main winner will win a dinner for two at Dinner by Heston and an overnight stay in London.  The main prize will consist of the following:
   • complimentary Glenfiddich welcome cocktail at the Mandarin Bar before making your way to Dinner by Heston;
   • the Chef’s Table experience: 6 courses with wine pairing, a bespoke menu that will be served directly to your table by the head chef;
   • economy or standard class return flight or trains to London from a main United Kingdom airport or station;
   • standard 1 night accommodation for two people;
9. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS RELATING TO THE MAIN PRIZE: 
   • Any other costs or expenses not listed (such as, but not limited to, transport in and around London during the prize trip and any relevant insurance including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) that may incur in connection with the winner and their guest taking up the prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest.
   • Travel dates and relevant reservations once notified to the winner cannot be changed, postponed, or cancelled, however, the prize trip may be delayed or postponed in prize provider’s sole discretion if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
   • The main prize trip is subject to availability and cannot be taken on any English and Scottish bank holidays.
   • Where applicable, the winner and their guest will be solely responsible for ensuring that they will be available to travel and that will hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents, and meet any necessary travel requirements which are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize trip on the dates specified.
   • The prize trip and all travel arrangements must and can only be booked and taken within 12 months of the winner being notified of winning the prize, after which, the winner will not be entitled to take up the prize trip.
   • The winner and their guest must comply with any terms imposed by the relevant airline, transport provider and venues involved in the provision of the prize.
   • The prize provider will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by any winner and their guest that arises out of their failure to arrive at any prize destination or return home. 
   • The prize provider has no obligation to substitute an alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a guest is unable to travel to any prize destination or fails to redeem the package for any reason.
10. THE RUNNER-UP PRIZE: The runner-up will win a bottle of Glenfiddich 18 Year Old (70cl, 40%).
11. THE SECOND RUNNER-UP PRIZE: The second runner-up will win a branded overnight bag and 2 branded glassware.
12. UK DELIVERY ONLY FOR THE RUNNERS-UP PRIZES: The runner-up prizes can only be delivered to a valid address within the United Kingdom provided by the prize recipient. 
13. CLAIMING THE PRIZE: 
    • The name of the winner will be announced on MoM’s blog as soon as practicable upon selection. MoM will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner via email or by telephone as soon as practicable.
    • The prize recipients will be required to contact the prize provider to arrange fulfilment of the prize. 
    • If any winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the prize within 5 days of MoM contacting them, MoM reserves the right to offer the prize to another eligible entrant. The runners-up must and can only claim and redeem the prize within 6 months of being notified they are a prize recipient.
    • MoM cannot accept any responsibility if any winner is unable to take up the prize or fails to claim the prize within the time limit as set out above. MoM may contact the winner for feedback in respect of the competition and/or prize and may use any feedback provided when announcing the results and promoting the Competition or subsequent competitions.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Insofar as is permitted by law, the promoter, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall in no circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant who participates in the competition and/or the winner and their guest(s) who claim(s) the prize for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising out of or in connection with their participation in this competition, any failure or delays or postponements or cancellations in making the appropriate travel and accommodation arrangements as a result of the winner taking up the prize (including in relation to their guests), except where it is caused by the negligence of the promoter, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Competition entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
15. WILLIAM GRANT AND SONS’ PRIVACY POLICY: In order for the prize to be fulfilled, all prize recipients will be required to contact the prize provider. Once their details are with the prize provider, the prize provider will act as data controller of such personal data and will process the personal data subject to their Privacy Policy, a current copy can be found here. 
16. GENERAL: These terms shall be governed by the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
