UPDATE: We have a winner! Congratulations to John Walker! What a fine whisky-related name you have. Enjoy your bottle of  Laphroaig 34 Year Old – The Ian Hunter Story Book 5 worth over £1,000!

Have we got a competition for you. One lucky Master of Malt customer will win a bottle of Laphroaig 34 Year Old – The Ian Hunter Story Book 5 worth over £1,000!

This is the fifth in the series of long-aged Laphroaigs named in honour of the distillery’s legendary manager. It has been double-matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and Pedro Ximénez European oak hogheads, before bottling at 45.5% ABV. Anyone who has ever tasted a really old Laphroaig will understand what happens to this most rugged of single malts with age – the smoke goes down but the fruit gets dialled up. Truly a sensational whisky.

To be in with a chance of tasting a bit of Islay history all you have to do is buy a bottle from the Laphroaig range below and you will automatically be entered into the competition.
