So… I guess we have to come clean about the simply astonishing work of Dr Brian Cocks and his coveted Scotch Eggs.
We’re sorry to say that the reason this particular quackery was hitherto unknown—indeed hitherto unimagined—may have something to do with the fact it was announced on April Fools’ Day.
Sadly, science has yet to catch up with such momentous flights of fancy, and as Dickie Dawkins never actually said, it may in fact be a “cruel misuse of hens”. (Besides which, the SWA would never allow it…)
