Today we’d like to tell you about a new and extremely exciting gin! There are always new gins coming out, of course, but how many of them are made with hand picked botanicals from Kew Gardens?! Kew Organic Gin is certainly something quite special.
Dodd’s Gin (the chaps from The London Distillery Company in Battersea) has partnered with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to create a brand new organic gin from the aforementioned foraged seasonal Kew flora and other organic botanicals from around the world. The famous gardens span 320 acres, employing 750 staff (250 of which are scientists with many more involved in the internationally important research carried out there) and house a truly extraordinary collection of useful plants and fungi. Understandably, it’s been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2003. Can you dream of a better place to source botanicals?
A limited edition first batch of just over 1,000 bottles has been released, available now for around £29 for 70cl exclusively from Master of Malt, the distillery and the gardens. Surely a bargain!

The gin is distilled in Christina, LDC’s 140 litre copper pot still, and is bottled and labelled by the folk at the small Battersea distillery.
