Bitter Bastards Cask-Aged Whisky Bitters 10cl
A 10cl bottle of Cask-Aged Whisky Bitters from the fabulous Bitter Bastards range, made using rapid-maceration and centrifugal extraction. These feature notes of vanilla, cinnamon, clove and two types of orange peel, and are matured in fresh American oak cask for four months before bottling. The resulting bitters are absolutely brilliant for using in whisky (and whiskey) cocktails...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Old-fashioned cola cubes, orange peel and a good helping of vanilla. Touches of liquorice root and tobacco.
Palate
A big rush of vanilla, freshly chopped herbs, aniseed and orange zest. Developing notes of cardamom and plump raisins.
Finish
Lasting clove and sultana notes, with a final flourish of rich cigar box aroma.
