Kasteelbier Donker Bottling Note

From Brewery Van Honsebrouck (founded by Amandus Van Honsebrouck back in the 1800s, though it was only given that name in the mid-1900s by Luc Van Honsebrouck) comes their Donker Qaudrupel style Belgian ale. Massive sweetness, well balanced by roasted malt bringing notes of rich, bitter coffee.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Syrupy, with notes of blackberries and banana. Milk chocolate builds and builds alongside roasted coffee beans.

The best of the best.

What can I say about the best in nose, flavour and finish and not limited to the 11% kicker.
A lot of high alcohol beers taste quite spirity, but this is all about the flavour.
