Motueka Hopped Beer

Also known as B Saaz, this variety was bred from Saaz and New Zealand hops in 1997. The ‘B’ originally stood for ‘Belgian’, as it had been selected by a Belgian brewer, but this is a Kiwi hop. Renamed Motueka, it’s an aroma hop that exhibits some Saaz spice alongside tropical fruit salad and ‘Mojito’ lime notes. Possible uses are varied, adding a Kiwi lift to Lagers, Pale Ales, Bohemian Pilsners and many more.
